Yes, this is jewellery for ashes as well as love notes. We carefully place ashes into jewellery and seal it forever. Fine quality cremation jewellery made with integrity.

Notes can be handwritten on a piece of paper in the sizes listed above, or photographed and printed in the required size, if it is a note from a loved on, or a photo from a special memory to be incorporated.

Every piece is personally made in the LOVE IN A JEWEL workshop and can take from five days to two weeks for delivery. Faster delivery may be available on request.

LOVE IN A JEWEL pieces usually ship within 5 working days of the receipt of your handpenned note, ashes, or momento. Some pieces are a little more intricate/delicate and may take a little longer to create, especially during busy times.

Most orders are completed and received by clients within 2 weeks of receipt of Keepsake by LOVE IN A JEWEL. Faster shipping may be able to be arranged on request.

Tracy and Joachim van Oostrum, owners and founders of Love in a Jewel run their workshop out of Christchurch, where Master Jeweller, Joachim, designs and creates all LOVE IN A JEWEL Keepsake Collection pieces from.

In their own words:

"LOVE IN A JEWEL’s story was born when co-founder Tracy lost her beautiful mother, Colleen. 
Joachim van Oostrum, Tracy’s husband and our Master Jeweller, crafted a beautiful ashes necklace as a special gift for Tracy.
This idea later evolved to become LOVE IN A JEWEL, with the renowned Keepsake Collection holding handpenned love notes inside forever, now a gift to many."

Each LOVE IN A JEWEL piece sealed with your keepsake/momento inside, comes with a beautiful product display box, at least two polaroid pictures showing the piece next to the keepsake, and the open piece with the keepsake inside just before it is sealed forever.

Pendants come with your selected chain, and charms are supplied with either your selected bracelet or ready to add to your own bracelet.

If you have elected to include a keepsake that is not a note or a picture, then any remaining is returned to you with your piece. With the utmost care taken to preserve it on it's journey safely back to you.
